The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH is seeking a contractor to implement the project "Supporting the green and circular business ecosystem in Jordan", which is part of the overall Green Action in Enterprises (GAIN) project. The overall objective of the GAIN project is that "public and private actors use instruments to promote a Green Economy". The project consists of 4 outputs: - Output 1 aims to strengthen the organisational capacity of public sector institutions to implement selected initiatives to promote a green transformation of the Jordanian industrial sector. - Output 2 aims to improve the facilitation between the industrial and financial sector for green investments. - Output 3 focuses on strengthening instruments for scaling up resource-efficient and/or circular production in the Jordanian industrial sector. - Output 4 aims to strengthen instruments to empower women in the Jordanian industrial sector. - Output 5: aims to strengthen the ecosystem of green and circular business models in Jordan through providing technical support to existing green businesses with focus on SMEs to develop new concepts of green products and services and/or scaling up existing ones. In this context, GIZ is seeking to commission a contractor to support the implementation of its output 5 through the provision of a range of specialised green and circular business advisory services relating to four packages of services: (1) Preparation Phase This work package focuses on to establishing a comprehensive understanding of Jordan"s green and circular business ecosystem and develop a methodology for implementation of the other work packages. (2) Development of service offering by business support organizations The objective of WP2 is to enhance the capacity and strategic orientation of intermediaries and business support organizations in offering service lines for the development of circular and green business models in cooperation with academic institut
